Michelle + Nick : Dana Point Wedding : More Eye Candy!

Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of being part of Michelle & Nick's waterfont wedding at the Dana Point Yacht Club. I was adding some of their sultry images to the V3 website when I realized I had not shared many of them here on the blog. Here's a mini photo recap of their day as captured by one of the sweetest photographers I know, Natalie Williams. Enjoy :)

Elenor & Eric : Nixon Library Wedding

Elenor & Eric share the kind of love that reminds me of why I got into weddings. It's the kind of love that warms the hearts of everyone around them. The kind of love that makes you feel a little weak in the knees. The kind of love that makes forever seem not quite long enough. The kind of love that inspired my business, because it is precisely the kind of love that I believe in ;)

I am beyond excited to share with you the Elenor & Eric's wedding, which took place at their hometown church of La Habra and the Nixon Library in Yorba Linda. All photos were taken by the lovely and talented, Trista Lerit. For more photos of this wedding and others shot by Trista, see her blog by clicking HERE!

Classic Beauties!

Love the light that was flooding the gardens at the Nixon!

The flowers were just as timeless as this love story, thanks to Amanda Crawford Designs

Elenor is the QUEEN of details! We oooww'd and awww'd over all the personalized details that she took on as projects. Everything was perfectly matching and they looked professionally crafted!

The happy happy couple :)

Elenor & Eric - Don't ever ever change! Keep loving, keep laughing, keep living life to the fullest. Congrats again, and all my best wishes for a lifetime of happiness ;)

THiNK PiNK! : Featured Faves In support of BCA Month

I'm all about a cause. Anything having to do with charitable work, philanthropy, humanitarian efforts, and giving back is built into my DNA. Also built into my DNA is the ever present risk of breast cancer. Sadly, this malignant tumor runs deep in the roots of my family and hits very close to home having affected both my mother, grandmother, and several close relatives. As with many forms of cancer, knowledge and understanding of the disease is one of the best measures of reducing risk and working towards prevention. October means a lot of things to me {my birthday month!} but I always get excited to kick off the month by doing something to increase awareness and encourage others to support fundraisers for research into its cause, prevention and cure!

That said, might I inspire you to THiNK PiNK! this October! All month I will be featuring adorable products that would not only make for fabulous gifts for brides/bridesmaids/girlfriends/etc., but a portion of sales from all these items are donated to charities in support of breast cancer awareness :)

Sprinkles Pink Ribbon Cupcakes
Shop October 1st thru October 7th!

And my personal fave... the Dogeared "Find A Cure" necklace
{My sister got me this Dogeared necklace 2 months ago as a bridesmaids gift & I've worn it nearly everyday since! I am in love with the company and their products! They make for such fabulous little gifts - make it personal by choosing a different piece for each of your bridesmaids!}

Amy & Chris : Summit House Wedding

Amy & Chris are my kind of people. Amy is gracious and she's affable. She has the most darling mannerisms and carries herself with so much class. Chris is jovial and witty - a devote and loyal kinda guy who would give a friend the shirt right off his back if they needed it. Totally admirable. Together, Amy & Chris are carefree, easy going, & down right adorable.

Their wedding day was an occasion marked with joy, laughter, and revelry. Loved ones gathered from near and far to witness their touching ceremony at their home church, followed by their gala reception at the Summit House Restaurant in Fullerton. Here are some images of the day from their outrageously cool photographer, Chris Diset. Thanks Chris!

The flowers were all modern designs from Suzanne M Smith. Suzanne is so knowledgeable and creative. Amy & I had a lot of fun talking details with her at our design meetings.

Love this one...

The Summit House is such a classy venue and the staff is really wonderful. Can't wait to work there again!

The details: simple. clean. modern. fresh.

Perhaps my favorite sparkler grand exit photos EVER. I feel the energy, feel the love, feel the excitement!

Amy & Chris - I already miss our quality time/planning sessions and lengthy emails about life, love, and logisitics! I wholeheartedly THANK YOU for sharing your wedding day with us and wish you all the best in the newlywed world and beyond ;)

xoxo,

Kelly & Kyle : Ocean Institute Dana Point Wedding

Kelly & Kyle love generously. They love their families without question, their friends without conditions, and they love each each other without constraint. It's really a beautiful thing. The couple exchanged vows at the Ocean Institute in Dana Point amongst a handsome group of loved ones and I felt incredibly honored and blessed to be a part of their big day. Not only because they are such an adorable pair, but they also enlisted a fabulous team of vendors to help orchestrate their fairy tale wedding. And what would a fairy tale wedding be without a little magic? Why indeed... these images captured by Jan Garcia are truly magic ;)

Kelly looking D I V I N E!

I am totally crazy about the vibrant teals and blues they chose for their day! LOVE how the color completely pops in these photos!

The details were a doozy and had guests swooning with delight!

I have to rave for a minute about the awesomeness that is the
Ocean Institute. The proximity to the water and the exclusive feel of the venue makes it a total gem! Definitely check it out if you are looking for a unique waterfront venue in Dana Point or even Orange County!

MARRIED!

On to the reception... Kelly & Kyle have excellent taste {clearly!}
Each and every element tied beautifully into their theme without resulting in the wedding looking too..., well, "theme-ish". The remarkable setup was a collaboration of their endless personal touches and the superb handiwork of all their talented vendors.

Kelly & Kyle - Thank you for letting me be witness to your fairy tale. If every day begins and ends with your love for each other, I have no doubt in my head it will be magical :)

The Dream Team...

Erica + Greg : Surf + Sand Laguna Beach Wedding : More Eye Candy!

I know I have raved about Erica & Greg's Surf and Sand Resort wedding in a previous post, but this time I brought even more pictures to back up my claims! he he ;)

There is so much that can be said about why this wedding was out-of-this-world-mind-blowing but I'm thinking I should let the pictures do the talking because I am about to bombard you with tons of them!

Where to start, where to start... AH! The alluring Erica & Greg. FIERCE!

Not that they need any help, but the girls were all prepped and pampered by Nicole Deanne, who fancied up their hair and makeup.
Erica commissioned the help of the creatively endowed, Stacia Freeman of Serendipity Designs. All the wonderful little paper details from this event were designed and put together by Stacia.
What a great looking bunch - and I don't just mean this bridal party! The gorgeous floral details are the enchanting creations of Green Leaf Designs. I wholeheartedly love working with Shelby and her crew. They always work their magic!

My heart skips a beat looking at these black and whites.... so passionate and timeless.

Just Married!

I've said it before and I'll say it again... lighting adds ambiance and personality to any room! Uplights by Atmosphere Entertainment added the WOW factor into the Pelican ballroom. My team warmed things up a bit by flooding the tables with a variety of votives, cylinders, and floating candles. Guests -literally- were glowing with compliments all night!

Erica and her outrageously talented mother baked and packaged the most scrumptious Mexican Wedding Cookies for guests to take home as favors. I will have to find and later post a close up shot of the adorable cellophane bags that adorned each place setting. Below is a picture of the menu cards made by Serendipity.
Pictured above: the "Heritage table" - A display of wedding photos from close friends and family members. Too cute!

If you, um... have a pulse(!), then you will most likely obsess over these photos as much as I do! Which means you will most likely enjoy checking out more photos from the amazingly gifted, Nicole Caldwell. Nicole - I am so thrilled you figured out how to make a moment last forever! Really. That's what your photos do!

Erica & Greg, I know I have already told you this... but I *heart* you two. Your love is uplifting, and I am certain this most joyous day in your life is one of the most delightful days of mine :) BEST WISHES!

XOXO,
