V3 Celebrates! Brooklyn's Baby Dedication
My goodness, it's awfully quiet around here :( I admit, I have been the WORST blogger as of late and if busyness were any excuse, well then I would have a minimum of 24673 reasons why I've neglected to check in!! SRSLY! I'm aware it's hardly an excuse these days but between our wonderful 2013 clients, my mommy and wifey life, and our new business venture (more on this soon!), the time just seems to get away from me in the most fleeting fashion. I can't believe we are almost half way into 2013. I still have weddings from last year to share, yikes! But since most of the wedding photos are still cookin' or are being slated for features on a couple blogs and publications (yay!), I will -for now- share a few pictures of my daughter's baby dedication party from early spring.
This party was super fun to put together because a) I didn't get to throw her a first bday party so I insisted we fancy it up a bit, b) nearly all our closest, favorite people celebrated with us, and c) my little Brooklyn was such a doll of a client ;) Seriously though, isn't she the cutest thing, like, EVER?! hehe

Laleh & Amir : Segerstrom Center for the Arts Wedding
We are so elated to be able to share this gorgeous affair! Laleh & Amir were married at the ever amazing Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa, CA. I met with Laleh & Amir just months before they wed. Laleh did an incredible job planning her day and we were so thrilled when she asked us to come on board to pull together and coordinate all the details.
This was not our first Iranian wedding but it was our first time putting together a Sofreh Aghd, the traditional wedding spread of Persian ceremonies. I absolutely LOVED learning about and piecing together all the meaningful trinkets that made up their beautiful sofreh. Their intimate ceremony took place on the rooftop balcony of the Center, where they were honored and showered with love and gifts from their closest friends and family. We then moved inside the gorgeous multi tiered building where vibrant orange flowers and floods of uplights set the mood for a more jubilant bash. Persian weddings are so awesome and wonderful, in that they are truly, truly, truly a celebration! It was so touching to see everyone, and I mean, EVERY.LAST.GUEST, without exception, cheering, dancing, loving on, and celebrating the newlyweds! Just amazing!

On the Future, the Past, & a Timeless Tustin Ranch Wedding
Hi Friends!
This week the V3 website got a little facelift of the html5 kind, meaning our site is finally compatible with our ipad and iphone friends. While it's not totally completed, I'd still love for you to take a look at it! {CLICK HERE} I think you'll find it's cleaner, easier to navigate, and Our Lookbook is dancing with swoon-worthy eye candy! We are also working on transitioning to a new blog and hosting site. Quite honestly, it's a long dragged out transition because our office hours are {blessed to be} consumed by the engagement season buzz. I'll be so happy and thankful when both sites are finally done and beautiful and ready to share with you!
At V3 we frequently talk about the future. We dream about it. We obsess over it. We plan for it. It's the very nature of what we do. But we also give a heap load of thought to our past. Especially our past weddings and couples, because I am not ashamed to admit that the success of V3 was built upon the trust and confidence they put in me and my business, even before I had an extensive portfolio or heavy resume to show for. I will be forever indebted to those couples for sharing, for teaching, for inspiring us into the people and business we are today.
In the spirit of celebrating both the old and the new, I thought it'd be fun to share with you the very first official wedding I coordinated under the V3 name four years ago. I love this wedding so much because if I were asked what kind of weddings we specialize in, I would say that we aim to design highly personalized, detail infused weddings that are both modern AND timeless, and Sharon & Rudy's wedding would be the perfect example of all that. Even with all the new and ever changing wedding trends, the simple but elegant theme and colors of this wedding makes it just as inspiring and relatable today as it was four years ago. When details are chosen wisely and with much thought to who the couple is, you have a wedding that is not trendy nor dated, but rather a wedding that is entirely reflective of a couple and who they are, a wedding that is so "them", a V3 wedding. ;)

Stephanee & Wenzell : Aviara Resort Carlsbad Wedding
Hello & Happy New Year, Friends!
I hope everyone had a warm and cozy holiday season and year end. We got the chance to sneak a way from the office for a whole week and while it was so very needed, I have to say it was a thrill to come home to an inbox full of fun messages from new brides and grooms to be! Yup, engagement season is in full swing and we are giddy to get to know our newly engaged friends. 2013, I am loving you already!
We got a lot of sharing to do, so let's jump right in so you can get to the bling...
Stephanee & Wenzell were married on the most perfect day of August at the gorgeous Aviara Resort in Carlsbad. It was a dream to help conceptualize their day and orchestrate all the sparkly, glammed up details.
I say quite often that I have the best clients in the world, and if I had to prove it I would certainly offer these two up as evidence. Seriously, Steph &Wenzell are the most charming, thoughtful pair anyone can imagine. Even on their wedding day, they were constantly going out of their way to make sure that everyone from their bridal party to guests, even vendors, were enjoying themselves and were well taken care of.
I have to thank my dear friend and paper extraordinaire, Chanda from Paper Crew, for referring us.
